General information

Papacargo, Limited Liability Company (Papacargo, "we", "we", "us", "our"), acting as a personal data operator, is obliged to protect and respect the confidentiality of the data provided by you (users). This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "Policy") describes how to collect, use, disclose, store and protect your personal information. The Policy applies to all our websites and mobile applications (jointly referred to as "Platform").



Information collected and processed in regards of the User

We may collect, process, retrieve, use, (crossborder) transfer, depersonalize, block, delete, or destroy data about you as a user. When visiting the Platform, the data is transmitted voluntarily by the user.


Personal information (personal data):

- mandatory information required to register for the purpose of receiving services provided on our Platform or to access our other services. The information includes your name, country of registration, e-mail address, mobile phone number, and user password. All of the fields are mandatory. If you do not provide the necessary information, Papacargo will not be able to provide you with the services offered on our Platform and therefore you will not be able to create a user account on the Platform;

- a picture;  

- your car's data;

- financial information related to the transaction (e.g., credit card or bank account number).


Additional information:

- the content of communications between you and us, between you and other users of the Platform;

- information about all requests, routes, ads you have created on our Platform, or requests you have made on our Platform;

- information about your visits to the Platform and the resources you have access to;

- your responses in any surveys or questionnaires, such as the feedback you share with other users of the Platform. This information may be used for analytical purposes and to understand the user's needs;

- information that we may request from you and/or that may be required when you report a problem with our Platform to us, such as the subject of your request to our support team.


Information that we collect automatically:

- location information, including location information from your mobile device. Remember that most mobile devices allow you to manage location services and disable them in any application on your mobile device in the device settings menu;

- computer and connection information, for example: login data, the type and version of the browser, language, browser plugin types, operating system and platform, visit statistics, incoming/outgoing site traffic, URL for calls, advertisements, IP address, date and time of request, browsing history, web log information, download errors, duration of visits to certain pages.



Usage of user related information

We use your personal information to fulfill our Agreement with you, to provide you with our services, to fulfill our legal obligations, to protect your interests and for other purposes. Such purposes as:

- fulfilling our obligations arising from any agreements entered into between you and us, providing you with the information and services you have requested from us, evaluating and improving our services, ensuring the security and operation of our services and configuring the content of the Platform;

- providing you with opportunities to personalize your account on our Platform;

- managing your accounts, communicating with you about your account issues to resolve account issues, resolving disputes, charging fees and other charges, and for other purposes for your personalized service;

- ensuring the processing of payments, in particular the receipt of payments from you or, where applicable, the transfer to you of payments received by us on your behalf;

- providing you with opportunities to communicate and interact with other users, as well as access and ability to communicate with our support team;
- ensuring compliance with applicable laws, our terms and conditions, and this Policy. In the event of certain violations that we find unacceptable, your account may be suspended;

- sending you, in accordance with applicable law, promotional materials, service related information, offers and recommendations via SMS and/or email and/or other means of communication regarding services related to our service that may be of interest to you. Please note that we never use your personal data to send you promotional messages from third parties. Furthermore, we do not sell any information about you to third parties or business partners;

- notify you of changes to the Platform services.   

With your consent, we may send you push notifications with information about your current and potential requests. You may provide us with access to your location or contact information to obtain the services you have requested. When you download images from your mobile device, your photos may also contain information about your location. Please refer to the instructions for your mobile device (including the SDK and push-token software package) to set up the transmission of this information and to enable (or disable) push notifications. Different operating systems may have different default settings, so we ask you to review the settings related to push notifications on your device.


The information we automatically collect is used for the following purposes:

- improving the Platform, for example, by viewing information about frozen or damaged pages that users have experienced, allowing us to identify and correct problems and improve service;

- providing you with access to the interactive features of our service when you required;

- monitoring and improving the information security and reliability of our Platform;

- evaluating and determining the effectiveness of the advertising we place for you and other persons and placing the appropriate advertising for you.

Purposes of collecting information
When using the Platform, certain information about you is communicated to the relevant members of our services, either in your public account or in the process of obtaining contacts, only to the extent necessary for the use of the Platform (for example, we provide your name and phone number to the user with whom you intend to execute the order).

We may receive and share information about you, including personal data, with other websites or applications we manage, if you use them, or with other Papacargo organizations and affiliates, to achieve the goals set forth in this Policy.

We cooperate with third parties who may be recipients of your personal data, for example:

- third-party service providers who assist us in the provision of services, payment processing and personalized promotional materials to help us prevent, detect, minimize and investigate potential illegal activities, violations of the User Agreement, fraud and/or security breaches, as well as to obtain payments, affiliate and bonus programs, co-branded credit card transactions and other commercial transactions;

- third-party financial institutions that we use to offer you financial products so that they can provide shared content and services (such as registration, transactions and customer support). These third party financial institutions will only use your personal information to send you marketing messages if you request their Services;

- our business partners who may advertise our services on their websites/applications, their services on our Platform, for which you may choose to subscribe;

- our technical contractors, analysts.

We do not disclose any information about you as a user, including your personal data, to the above-mentioned third parties, except in the following cases:

- if it is necessary to involve a third-party service provider in the performance of any Agreement entered into between you and us to perform, improve or expand our services (for example, if we collect fees from you or receive funds in connection with any services on the Platform);

- as part of the contact process, data such as your name, surname, mobile phone number and/or email address may be displayed on the Platform and/or transmitted to a user with whom you and/or with whom you have an intention to enter into a transaction;

- as part of our rating system, your feedback is published on the Platform, and your name is visible to all visitors to the Platform;

- we cooperate with data processing and analysis service providers and use search engines to improve and optimize our Platform;

- we may partially place the content of our service on our business partners' websites via APIs or widgets. In such cases, the above websites may contain certain information from your public account;

- in addition, Papacargo may disclose information about you if required to do so by law, or if we have a good faith belief that such access, retention or disclosure is necessary to respond to claims made against Papacargo, to comply with the law and any Agreements with our users, such as our terms, this Policy, or to deal with an emergency situation that could result in injury, harm or death, conducting an investigation, protecting the rights, property and personal safety of Papacargo, its users and others;

- at the reasonable request of any authorized state authority or court, we will provide any personal, confidential or personal information provided by the User on the Platform;

- when we purchase any assets or companies where we may disclose your personal data to a prospective seller of those assets or companies in accordance with applicable law;

- in the case of the acquisition of all or part of Papacargo's assets by a third party, where the personal data of its users will be one of the transferred assets.

We may aggregate information about you, including your personal data and cookies, which we share with and receive from our business partners, in accordance with applicable law and with your consent where required. We may use this information and the combined information for the above-mentioned purposes.

Please note that if you choose to provide us with information about yourself, including personal data, through our business partner services that allow you to add information to our Platform, in addition to this Policy, you may also be subject to the privacy policy and/or privacy policy of any of our business partners. We do not control the collection and/or processing of information about you on our own websites/applications of our business partners.



Ways to control, correct and access personal information

As a user of our Platform, you have access to your personal data stored by us through your account to correct, supplement or delete inaccurate information. The papacargo service does not verify the accuracy of personal information provided by Users and is not able to assess its legal capacity. Papacargo assumes that the User provides reliable and sufficient information and keeps it up to date.

In the event that you, as a User, wish to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with this Policy, please contact our support team. However, please note that we may decline your request to delete or correct your personal information in accordance with regulations, especially those that affect our reporting and claims processing processes, fraud detection or prevention, and our data retention obligations that prevent the deletion or anonymization of personal information.



Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (personal computer, laptop, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) when you visit Internet sites.

We use the following cookies:

- strictly necessary cookies allow you to navigate the Platform and use its basic functions. They are usually installed in response to actions you take that request services, such as logging in to the secure area of the Platform. The cookies are necessary for the use of our Platform;

- functional cookies are used to get to know you when you return to our Platform and to offer you better and more personalized features, such as contacting you by name and remembering your settings (for example, your choice of region or language). These cookies collect non-personally identifiable information and cannot track your movements on other websites;

- analytical and operational cookies allow us to determine and calculate the number of visitors and to gather information about how the Platform is used (for example, which pages a visitor opens most often and whether a user receives error messages on certain pages). This helps to improve the performance of our Platform, including making it easy for users to find what they are looking for.

- marketing and targeted cookies record your visits to our Platform, the pages you visit and the links you clicked. We may use this information to show you advertisements that are more appropriate for you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement and to help you evaluate the effectiveness of your advertising campaigns. For these purposes, we may also share this information with third parties (in particular, advertisers).

Please note that Papacargo uses third party services to learn how you use the Platform in order to optimize your experience as a user and to display advertising outside of the Platform. Such third parties (including, for example, advertising networks or external service providers such as web traffic analytics services) may also use cookies that we are not related to.

If you want to delete cookies stored on your device and set your web browser to refuse cookies, you can do so in your browser settings.

Please note that when you refuse to use and store cookies on your device by changing your web browser settings, you will be able to view our Platform, but some options or features may not work properly.



Links to other websites and social networks

Our Platform may from time to time contain links to websites that are our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. When you link to any of those websites, please note that they websites have their own privacy policies for which we are not responsible. Please read the privacy policy of those websites before submitting any personal data.



How we protect your information

For the purposes described above, your information may be located outside your country of residence, where other data protection standards may be adopted. In accordance with the law on personal data, we ensure adequate protection of information when it is transferred across borders, including the transfer of this data to third parties. We take appropriate security measures to collect, store and process collected data to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, and continuously improve our data collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to counter unauthorized access to our systems.
The term of personal data processing is unlimited.



Changes in the Privacy Policy

We have the right, at our discretion, to update this data privacy policy at any time. Any changes that we may make to this Policy in the future will be listed on this page. Where necessary, we will notify you as a user or contact you to obtain your consent. By using the Platform, you agree to accept responsibility for the periodic review of the Policy and its amendments.



User acceptance of these terms

By using our Platform, you unconditional consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use our Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following changes to these Terms and conditions will be considered as your acceptance of those changes.

The original version of this privacy policy is in Russian. Translations into other languages are only available for your convenience. In case of discrepancy between the Russian original and the translated version, the Russian original shall prevail.
